A terrified female college student in Kaohsiung, Taiwan called the police when she found a cockroach in her dormitory room.
According to a report in news.qq.com, the police did their best to exterminate the pest as they believed in serving the public.
The 20-year-old student had called the police in the middle of the night, and was so scared that she was incoherent and could only utter "hurry up, save me."
The police thought she was in danger and rushed to the scene, only to discover that the 'culprit' was a cockroach.
It turned out the cockroach had entered the room and started flying around when the student opened her window on that warm night.
The police found the cockroach on a shelf and threw it out the window.
Netizens think the girl overreacted and could have just asked her dorm mates to get rid of the cockroach instead of wasting community resources.
