i remember how sweet my son's prayers were when he was 5+

it went like this

dear jesus
bless that donovan will colour inside the box
bless that wai leong can draw a straight line

ITS ABOUT PERSPECTIVES, ISNT IT
AT THAT AGE, GIVEN THEIR WORLD VIEW, THOSE WERE THE MOST
IMPORTANT THINGS TO THEM - - THAT NEEDED DIVINE INTERVENTION!!!!!
HA HA HA

after 9/11, it went like this

dear jesus
bless that my school wont collapse
bless that my bus wont collapse
bless that my teachers wont collapse
bless that mum and dad will come back home everyday

...thats when i knew that the repeated images of 9/11 on tv
and the stories of dead parents....must have traumatised the boy...
