let me explain why i gave you a pencil

1 it may appear cheap and insignificant to some - if so, then the message is lost on you

2 i do not like expensive gifts - fr teachers day - more than the gifts you bought me - i cherish the cards and the kind words - i have a whole box full of these cards i keep at home

3 Likewise, when i give, i would rather give gifts that seem cheap - but they come with a message ; or they are gifts that are made by me - like the cards i gave you s303 - i spent the whole night cutting and laminating them .. say thank you...

4 The pencil i gave had a message - i was caught being good - this is for a reason ...
very often we are caught for doing the wrong thing - it's nice to be caught for doing good, for a change

5 more importantly - i am hoping that you will pass this message around - catch someone doing good and show them you appreciate it - give them the pencil

6 if you keep the pencil; which you are unlikely to use - let's hope that it will be a reminder to you that it would be nice if you could do a good deed everyday
