i actually planned to give a speech to tell you how blessed i felt teaching a lovely class like yours
but after writing in your little notebooks, i felt i had already said what i needed to say

really - i loved my class last year - and i really thought i would miss them so
i used to sit next to mrs suhaimy - so i heard her little gripes of her class now and then
so i really wasnt looking forward to teaching your class especially when i loved my class to bits last year

but i told my self - expect the worst and you will get the worst - stop now - and just expect the best - and of course, its not always just a thought away - but this time it was - i really think i got the best class i could ask for - you were endearign from day 1 and oh so attentive - quite abnormally attentive - so much so - when i left the class the first day - i was thinking to myself - oh no - is this the calm before the storm - but guess what, the storm never came!!!
there were a few irregualr weather patterns, thats all....with latecoming and cliques and complaints galore !!!! -
but you all have really been such angels - i could'nt ask for more....

i am glad to have taught you
and it is said that we leave a small part of us on everyone we meet
and i hope i have imparted to you the following:

1 take everything that happens to you in your stride - and don't ask yourself "why me?"
instead ask yourself - what you are expected to learn from this experience

2 recognise that you are in this world for a purpose and do your best

3 do one good deed a day! and smile more than necessary...never mind if people think you are mad - they don't know the secret of the universe - I do!!!! he he

4 if all else fails - just drown yourself in chocolates - that's the secret to my youthful good looks;
and my figure, of course!

5 just be happy and thankful for what you have, BEFORE you aspire for more
