all i needed was a confirmation
now i know tttw is the second person in my 22 years (of which MOE only recognises 19!)
of teaching who made me cry during meet the parents

i wish i could be stronger
but i am a blubbering sentimental fool when i meet parents
and i see in them the hope and dreams that i remember seeing in my mother's eyes
you know kiddos
not all your parents work in places where they feel empowered and enjoy work
sometimes the crap they go through... its a daily diminution of their dignity and self esteem
(explain - i taught u this some time back- diminution is reduction/made smaller...so go figure)
but they go on day after day...perhaps hoping that you will rescue them...
or at least not go through the same hell they are

so, CUT THEM SOME SLACK,MAN!!!!
INSTEAD OF SULKING AND SLAMMING THE DOOR
RELISH THE NAGGING
DO A CRITIQUE AND ANALYSE TONE ATTITUDE
AND YOU WOULD HEAR THE MESSAGE FROM YOUR PARENTS....
